『es.car』 from 『HOLIDAYS IN THE SUN』

皆さん、こんばんわ～
連日の「どんより」天気ですね。

Weather has been 「dull」 these days.

さてさて、
今日も恒例の、インタビュー時の
YUIによる楽曲解説です！
Anyways,
today, as usual, it’s interview time
for YUI and her explanation to (her) song!
　
　
本日は『HOLIDAYS IN THE SUN』の夏ソングのひとつ！
Today, one of 『HOLIDAYS IN THE SUN』 summer-themed songs!

『es.car』！！

造語のようなフリをしつつ
江ノ島だけにある「エスカー」という乗り物から
タイトルにしました。
A coined word,
the (song’s) title was derived from
the 「escalator」 transport located only in Enoshima

夏のデートがテーマの曲。
The theme of the song is summer date(s).

あなたのすぐ側にあたしじゃダメかな?
恋のはじまり、まだお互いの気持ちを確認する前の歌です。
Why can’t you just be in my side?
The start of love, before confirming yet if the feeling is mutual, is (what the) song (is about).
　
初めてピアノに、年下のアリサちゃんに来てもらって
私もブースに入ってベージックは一発取りで録音しました。
First, we had junior Arisa-chan play the piano
while I enter the booth and recorded the basics in one shot.
　
その後、ストリングスなどウワモノを足したり
シェーカーも自分で録音したりと楽しく出来ました。
After that, strings and other stuff were added
I was gladly able to record myself the shaker, as well.
　
海に行くときや、ドライヴでぜひ聴いて欲しいです。
Going to the sea, its a nice listen while driving.
